Zendaya closed out her Spider Man: Brand New Day press tour by transforming into a high-fashion spider.
The Odyssey actress joined husband Tom Holland at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on July 27.
Zendaya stole the spotlight in an LBD with an optical illusion bodice that looked like it was hovering above her shoulders.
Zendaya and her longtime stylist Law Roach have been spinning a web of increasingly jaw-dropping method dressing moments for the Spider Man: Brand New Day press tour—and they saved the best for last. At the film’s Los Angeles premiere on July 27, the Euphoria actress nailed the arachnid fashion assignment in an ultra-plunging LBD with an optical illusion silhouette that looked like it was floating.

In a fashion and beauty 180 from her ethereal, Grecian goddess-codedOdyssey press tour, Zendaya went full spider mode as she closed out her final press circuit this summer. The star arrived at the Dolby Theatre in a sculptural Ashi Studio gown.
As she struck a pose on the red carpet, she showed off the number’s artful bodice as well as the antennae-like “pedipalps” that hung several inches off her shoulders.

The arachnid-like details continued at the back as Zendaya turned to reveal a plunging corset that was laced up and topped with tiny wing-like appendages on each side. In contrast to her body-con bodice, the Dune actress’s asymmetrical high-low skirt fanned out around her hips in dramatic tufts that made it look like she had a giant abdomen. The sartorial drama finished with a voluminous train, which wafted several feet to one side.

Zendaya kept the spider theme going with her accessories, adding a pair of web-like pointed-toe black pumps that were crowned with tiny bedazzled black spiders. The star swapped out her signature bob for a long, wet-illusion ponytail, which she framed with web-like locks of hair slicked to her forehead.
A pair of dangling Maison Boucheron’s Lavalliere Diamants pendant earrings added some major sparkle while providing a diamond web illusion.
Zendaya spared no detail with her vampy glam. In contrast to the retro and iridescent beats she’s been sporting on the red carpet this summer, the star made a bold statement with smudged-out black smoky eyeshadow, which she paired with a sculpted terra-cotta flush and a warm peach lipstick.
