It was a rainy day in 2024 when I, as a local journalist, first met Queen Camilla.
The setting was Rye, England, where I was among the media contingent accompanying Her Majesty throughout the day.
From engaging with local charities at a church to exploring a National Trust property, the experience was truly remarkable.

Yet it was the outdoor garden reception that remains etched in my memory. By then, the sun had fortunately emerged, and attendees were thrilled to be present.
I witnessed a side of Queen Camilla that contradicted years of media portrayals.

While Her Majesty displayed warmth and approachability with everyone she encountered, genuinely investing time to understand each person and their work, it was her interaction with two elderly actors that revealed her true character, reports the Express.

She demonstrated remarkable composure and compassion with them, assisting them into their seats and maintaining a protective watch over them.
She made a point of listening attentively to them and graciously accommodated multiple photograph requests.

Indeed, she exhibited comprehensive compassion throughout. I'm confident that if she behaved this way with these two elderly actors, she would extend the same treatment to young children.
Should she spend time with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet again in the future, I believe she would show them great tenderness, just as she does with her own grandchildren.
I imagine she would listen to their conversations, engage in activities with them, and simply provide them with her complete focus. By virtue of her title as Queen, Camilla comes across as a compassionate and supportive figure.
Her family, no doubt, regards her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
As the grandchildren of Camilla's husband, King Charles, both Archie and Lilibet would be fortunate to develop a meaningful relationship with Her Majesty.
