'Good For An 11-Year-Old': Kimmel Rips New WH Press Secretary's First Day

The late-night host pulled no punches in questioning Katie Zacharia’s qualifications for the job.
Jimmy Kimmel mercilessly skewered White House press secretary Katie Zacharia’s debut briefing on Tuesday, describing it as “the first day of kindergarten.”
“She accomplished exactly what she was brought in to do, which is slobber a whole tube of lip gloss all over the president’s behind,” Kimmel said before playing a clip of Zacharia’s briefing.
Kimmel also mocked Zacharia’s fashion sense, saying she looked like she was “about to announce pre-boarding on a Delta Airlines flight.”
He then played a clip of Zacharia appearing to struggle through her prepared statement highlighting President Donald Trump’s rally in Ohio on Monday.
“Her reading is good for an 11-year-old,” Kimmel said. “He hired a fourth grader to be press secretary.”

As for how Zacharia landed the job, Kimmel claimed it was because she called Democrats pedophiles on social media.
“So, I’m sure she’ll immediately call for everyone named in the Trump-Epstein files to be punished to the full extent of the law,” he said.
