Emily Brontë's 1847 Gothic tale is back in the spotlight, thanks to a bold new adaptation from Emerald Fennell (*Saltburn*). Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi lead the film, now in theaters, as toxic lovers Catherine and Heathcliff. Fennell's version of *Wuthering Heights* favors rich visuals (soundtracked by Charli XCX), including skin-inspired wallpaper and opulent gowns, over its source material. But if you're looking for a different take on the English tragedy, William Wyler's 1939 film with Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon (streaming on the Criterion Channel) incorporates the novel's spookier elements, namely ghosts. —*Tiffany Kelly, Staff Editor*

Good fences make good neighbors, but some fences aren't high enough. This six-episode HBO docuseries offers a peek over the hedge at real-life feuds, be it over property lines, pets, or even a yellow Speedo. Don't expect any happy block parties at the end of each installment. —*P.G.*

Laura Piani's charming and blisteringly funny French rom-com (streaming on Netflix) follows a bookseller (Camille Rutherford) who juggles writer's block and multiple romantic prospects at a Jane Austen residency. The 2025 gem is a perfect Valentine's Day watch. —*T.K.*

John Cameron Mitchell and Simu Liu in 'Oh, Mary!' on Broadway.
John Cameron Mitchell is hilarious perfection stepping into Mary Todd Lincoln's dress in the side-splitting alternate history of the first lady, still cracking up crowds at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre. Simu Liu, likewise, shows off his comedic chops in this Mary… I mean *merry* delight. —*Dalton Ross, Editorial Director*

*The Last of Us* meets *The Metamorphosis* in Chilean author Simón López Trujillo's newly translated novel, which smuggles trenchant social critique into an eco-thriller about a eucalyptus plantation worker who undergoes a reality-bending transformation after inhaling toxic fungal fumes. —*Ryan Coleman, News Writer*
