Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri has legally changed her surname from Cruise to Noelle, according to voter registration records.

Noelle is the Dawson’s Creek star’s middle name.

The 20-year-old is about to begin her junior year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

The 20-year-old college student legally changed her surname from Cruise to Noelle, her mother’s middle name, according to voter registration records viewed by Entertainment Weekly.

Suri, who is about to begin her junior year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, is registered to vote in the state of Pennsylvania.

Suri did not file a name change request in the Keystone State, where she’s lived since 2024, suggesting she may have done so in New York, where she grew up after being born in Los Angeles, according to Page Six, which was first to report the news.

Representatives for Cruise and Holmes did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment on Suri’s reported name change.

Suri Noelle debuted her new moniker two years ago in the ceremony pamphlet at her graduation from LaGuardia High School in Manhattan.

While Holmes was photographed celebrating the milestone with her daughter, Cruise reportedly did not attend. The Mission: Impossible star has not been publicly seen with Suri since he and Holmes divorced in 2012.

The musical theater major certainly takes after both of her parents.

Suri, who portrayed Morticia Addams in a high school play, has reportedly been cast in Midsummer!, a modern take on William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream that is a 90-minute stage production put on by Carnegie Mellon students. Following its two-show run on July 31 and Aug. 1 in Pittsburgh, the cast and crew of  Midsummer! will head to Scotland for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

“I’m proud of my daughter,” Holmes gushed to Town & Country in 2024, as Suri set off for college. “Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy. I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”

With her name change, Suri joins the likes of the former Jolie-Pitt kids.

Last week, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s youngest daughter Vivienne made a formal request in Los Angeles County Superior Court to drop her father’s surname. She filed the paperwork on her 18th birthday to make her legal name Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.

Vivienne’s sisters Zahara and Shiloh and eldest brother Maddox have all previously dropped Pitt from their name as well. Two of the former couple’s children, Vivienne’s twin brother Knox and second-eldest son Pax, have yet to make any legal moves to follow suit.

“If people knew the whole truth, they would have more sympathy for the children and respect them,” a source close to Jolie told PEOPLE. “The fact they aren’t speaking ill or sharing things publicly only shows their decency... Angie hasn’t been fighting and isn’t angry. She just wants everyone to heal.”
