As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding date approaches, a celebrity guest close to the couple has confirmed they'll attend, provided they've got something nice to wear.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared on Kansas City sports radio 96.5 *The Fan* that he "probably" has received an invite to their wedding, which per latest reports is set to be on July 3 in New York City.

"If I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going," he joked.

Reid, who coaches Kelce on the NFL team, then shared how "happy" he is for the couple, who got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating.

"I’m not the show, I’m just going to show up," Reid said. "Those guys, I’m so happy for them. When you really come down to it, doesn’t matter how big the show is around them. They’re in love, and that’s the most important thing."

Ahead of the couple announcing their engagement, Reid was asked what stories he would tell at a hypothetical wedding for the two.**

"Well, there are a few I can't tell," Reid said with a laugh on*The Fan*, before adding there are "a lot of great stories" he has about Kelce. "He's done so many good things, all the things he's done off the field that people don't know about, just helping people out. He's got a big heart that way. I appreciate that the most."

As for the 14-time Grammy-winning singer, Reid revealed he knew Swift before her fiancé did due to his family being big fans of her music, plus knowing her parents.

"Her dad is a huge football fan, so we hit it off with him," Reid shared of Scott Swift, adding, "Then she became this famous person, arguably the most famous woman in the world, since probably the Queen passed away."**

He continued, "She sure handles it the right way and that's the part I appreciate the most."

As speculation grows over Swift and Kelce's wedding, from when the nuptials will take place to which celebrities will get to attend, a source told PEOPLE in September that the couple has no plans to say their vows in the spotlight.

“It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,” the source said. "They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy."**
