- Judd Nelson was recently spotted riding his motorcycle in a rare public outing.

- The 1980s star keeps his personal life relatively private.

- During the 40th anniversary of *The Breakfast Club* last year, Nelson said he’s ā€œvery flatteredā€ when fans approach him about the film.

Don’t you forget about Judd Nelson.

The *Breakfast Club** *actor, 66, was spotted riding his chopper in West Hollywood, Calif., on Sept. 8. Much like his character in the beloved teen classic, Nelson was sporting a layered look, pairing a plaid shirt with a long jacket, according to photos obtained by PEOPLE.

He completed the look with camouflage pants and brown boots. And it appears that this is his typical riding uniform, as Nelson wore a similar look while out on his motorcycle in April, per *E! News**.*

In the years following his breakout roles in *The Breakfast Club* and *St. Elmo’s Fire*, Nelson has been working steadily while generally staying out of the public eye.

He did, however, make an appearance at the ā€œDon’t You Forget About Me: *The Breakfast Club* 40th Anniversary Reunionā€œ at the C2E2 pop culture convention in Chicago in April 2025. Nelson spoke about the legacy of the film alongside his costars Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez, and Ally Sheedy.

ā€œIt doesn’t come up every day, but I think certain people you could see it in their eyes that they have a memory of you and it’s from that film and it’s very specific,ā€ Nelson said at the reunion panel, reflecting on how people have approached him following the role. ā€œIt’s very recognizable to me and I’m very flattered by it.ā€

While he doesn’t shy away from talking about his iconic work, Nelson was absent from his *St. Elmo’s Fire* costar Andrew McCarthy’s 2024 Brat Pack documentary, *Brats*. His fellow *Breakfast Club* alum Ringwald was also not in the film.

ā€œI mean, they both are in the film in a sense that there’s a lot of clips and interviews and things,ā€ McCarthy told *Entertainment Tonight** *in June 2024. ā€œThe Brat Pack is an ongoing relationship, you know what I mean? And some people are at different places in their lives to want to or not want to talk about it. I think that just informs it even more. I mean, that’s my takeaway from it.ā€

Most recently, Nelson starred in the dramedy *You Are Here*, which filmmakers Jack and Claire Rose Kennedy are currently touring across theaters in the U.S.
