Matt Reeves has revealed a new logo for The Batman Part II. The Batman sequel is currently filming in England and is now expected to arrive in theaters later than previously scheduled.
What does the logo for The Batman Part II look like?
The new logo for The Batman Part II is quite simple. It features the familiar Bat insignia from the first film in red, with the Roman numeral “II” placed above it. Interestingly, the logo is not the one that was spotted in set photos. With the film set during winter, fans had wondered if it would feature a blue Bat symbol.
Ahead of the first film’s release, fans theorized that the Bat insignia on Robert Pattinson’s suit had been fashioned from parts of the gun that killed Bruce Wayne’s parents. However, the theory was debunked by Reeves himself. The Bat symbol’s placement on Batman’s suit also serves a tactical purpose. Near the end of the first film, it is revealed that the Bat symbol also doubles as a detachable blade, which the hero uses to cut an electrical cable to save Gotham citizens. This, along with his other actions, solidifies his position as a hero in the eyes of regular Gotham residents.

The upcoming sequel will see Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, and Andy Serkis reprise their roles as Batman, Gordon, and Alfred. The film has also added Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry, and Sebastian Koch in undisclosed roles. Recent rumors suggest that Stan is playing Victor Zsasz, while Johansson may be playing a different villain. The Penguin star Colin Farrell is also returning in the sequel, albeit in a reduced role. Brian Tyree Henry has been rumored to play Harvey Dent/Two-Face, which hasn’t been received well by fans.
The Batman Part II releases in theaters on February 18, 2028.
