Former Good Morning America anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are married.
The wedding comes nearly four years after their scandalous office romance became public.
Holmes and Robach left the morning show in January 2023 following the controversy.
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have tied the knot!
The former Good Morning Americaanchors wed in Washington County, Ark., on Sept. 19, according to registered marriage license viewed by Entertainment Weekly’s sister publication, PEOPLE. Holmes and Robach’s union comes four years after their workplace romance became public, subsequently costing them their seats at the anchordesk.
The marriage license was registered with the county clerk’s office — in Holmes’ home state — Oct. 13.
The couple previously announced their engagement during an episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast in October 2025. They shared in the description of the episode that they were “no longer girlfriend-boyfriend.”
“Okay, we are sharing with all of you that we are engaged,” Robach said. “And we’ve been engaged for just about a month now.”
And the two opened up about how they wanted to tell the public as soon as possible rather than let speculation build, alluding to how the initial news of their romance broke. Although Holmes quipped that there was little suspicion despite the fact that the duo had not hidden the engagement ring following the proposal.

“We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to,” he explained. “We’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship, that we want to be the first to talk about it. But we figured, ‘Whoa, this is a little late,’ because we have been in front of crowds of tens of thousands, with you dangling a ring in everybody’s face every chance you could, and nobody said a word.”
Holmes, 49, and Robach, 53, started their relationship shortly after they both separated from their respective spouses in August 2022. Their love story became public a couple months later after photos of the couple holding hands were published in various tabloids.

They were temporarily pulled from the air in December 2022, although ABC News President Kim Godwin had said at the time that the tryst was “not a violation of company policy.” The pair later left the morning show in January 2023.
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,” a company spokesperson said in a statement to EW at the time. “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”
In the wake of their scandal, their exes Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig reportedly began dating, too. They allegedly bonded over their respective splits. As they have pursued their own relationship in recent years, Shue and Fiebig apparently gave Robach and Holmes their blessing, according to Us Weekly.
