Summer House season 11 is now in production

Bravo confirmed on Monday, July 13, that filming had begun on the new season and revealed which stars are returning

It’s time to go back to the Hamptons.

On Monday, July 13, Bravo confirmed that production has begun on season 11 of Summer Houseand revealed which cast members are returning.

The casting news comes after sources previously told PEOPLE that both West Wilson and Amanda Batula will not be appearing in season 11. For Batula, the departure comes after a 10-season run on the show, since its 2017 premiere, and two months after she and Wilson confirmed they’re dating.

Batula’s ex, Kyle Cooke, and Wilson’s ex-girlfriend and Batula’s former best friend, Ciara Miller, are both confirmed to return for season 11.

Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese, KJ Dillard and Bailey Taylor will also return for season 11.

While Batula, 34, has not commented on her exit from the series, Wilson, 31, shared a brief comment.

In a TikTok video with content creator Lucas Brody, known as SohoBrody, posted on Wednesday, June 24, Wilson responded to reports of his exit. “That is true,” he said. “But in their defense, I don’t think it would have been a fun summer.”

Fans had been questioning whether Miller, 30, would return to Summer House amid the backlash to Batula and Wilson’s new relationship, and a Bravo exec made it clear that it would be wholly her choice.

“I have known Ciara for a while. Even before this whole craziness of the last few months, I have been a huge fan of hers as a person,” Josh Brown, vice president of current production at Bravo, told The Hollywood Reporterin May. “I can’t really comment on her coming back, but she’s someone whose story I want to follow for a very long time, on the show or not.”

“She’s unique and special,” Brown continued. “But at the end of the day, we want Ciara to be happy. We want what’s best for her and what she wants to do.”

Miller said on Saturday’s episode of Love Island: Aftersun that she was appearing virtually because “I have Summer House to shoot, season 11. I gotta get back to the Hamptons.”

Season 10 of the reality show earned an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Also on July 13, Bravo debuted the trailer for the spinoff series In the City’s two-part reunion.
