Shanna Moakler said she “felt like there were some lines that were crossed” while co-parenting her and Travis Barker’s kids, Alabama and Landon, with Kourtney Kardashian

She also claimed that she and the Kardashians star never had a conversation surrounding co-parenting or Kourtney’s involvement in her children’s lives

“I don’t think those women have those conversations with anybody,” she added of Kourtney's famous family

Shanna Moakler is claiming that Kourtney Kardashian “wasn’t respectful” in how she approached their co-parenting relationship.

While speaking with Brittany Cartwright on her When Reality Hits podcast on Friday, Feb. 27, the Meet the Barkers alum, 50, said that she and Kourtney, 46, have never had a conversation about co-parenting her and Travis Barker’s two children, Alabama Barker, 20, and Landon Barker, 22.

“I don’t think those women have those conversations with anybody,” Shanna said of Kourtney — who shares 2-year-old son Rocky with the Blink-182 drummer, whom she married in 2022 — and the rest of her famous family. “At one point in time, I felt it wasn’t respectful. I felt at certain times it was kind of like, ‘Wow, if I had your kids, I wouldn’t be doing some of the s--- you’re doing with my kids.’ ”

“I would make sure that if I was watching her children, I would have just made sure that lines weren’t crossed, and I felt like there were some lines that were crossed,” Shanna continued. “But it is what it is. It’s happened, and I think we’ve all moved forward from it now.”

Although she emphasized that she wouldn’t rule out the possibility of sitting down with Kourtney to have a conversation about their co-parenting preferences, Shanna admitted, “I don’t talk to that family, I don’t like that family.”

Even so, she acknowledged that the Kardashians are her own children’s family now, “whether I like it or not.”

“He married into that family, that is their stepmother,” she continued of Travis, 50, and Kourtney. “Her children are their stepbrothers and stepsisters. It really has nothing to do with me.”

“I could harbor a lot of animosity and anger from things that happened decades ago or, you know, as long as my kids are being treated well and they’re good to my kids — which they are, they’re good to my children and my children are happy — then that’s all I can be grateful for,” Shanna said, going on to reference the famous family’s popularity. “I try not to harbor too much attention on it. I mean, we can’t really avoid it. They’re everywhere.”

Reps for Kourtney and Travis did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

In June 2024, Shanna addressed critics calling her a “deadbeat mom” by making it clear that she’s “always had shared custody” of her and Travis’ kids.

"I think people think I was angry," she told PEOPLE of her feelings towards the Kardashians and her ex’s involvement with them. "But I'm not angry. It wasn't anger. I think I get maybe frustrated, but I'm also from the East Coast and I swear a lot and I can be very direct sometimes. And I think some people take that as anger where I'm just very real where I'm like, 'F--- the family.' I don't have to f- --ing like the family. And it's like, there's people that don't like it."
