Mike āThe Situationā Sorrentino and Nicole āSnookiā Polizzi may have had their ups and downs over the years, but these Jersey Shore castmates are always there for each other when it really counts.
After Polizzi, 38, publicly revealed her stage 1 cervical cancer diagnosis earlier this week, Sorrentino, 43, took to social media to send his longtime reality TV costar a message.
āSending prayers full of love, promotion and healing to our girl @snooki,ā Sorrentino wrote via X, along with sharing a throwback photo of the pair posing with fellow Jersey Shore stars Jenni āJWowwā Farley and Paul āDJ Pauly Dā DelVecchio.
For Polizziās part, she shared her health news via TikTok on Friday, February 20.

āNow Iām transferred over to the oncologist. My results came back from my cone biopsy, you guys, and it came back stage 1 cervical cancer. Obviously not the news that I was hoping for. But also not the worst news just because they caught it so early, thank freaking God,ā The mother of three, who shares children Lorenzo, Giovanna, and Angelo with husband Jionni LaValle, began.

āAnd thatās why Iām literally telling you guys to get your Pap smears done. Iām 38 years old. Iāve been struggling with abnormal Pap smears for, like, three [to] four years now, and now look at me. Instead of just putting it off because I didnāt wanna go and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it, and it was there. Cancerās in there, and itās only stage 1,ā Polizzi added.
Though Polizzi assured fans her cancer is ācurable,ā she still has quite a journey ahead. First, she will be undergoing a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread.
āThen after that, Iām gonna probably get the hysterectomy because the oncologist said you can either do chemo, radiation, or the hysterectomy,ā Polizzi explained. āObviously, I think the smart choice here is a hysterectomy. Iāll still keep my ovaries, which is a good sign, but gotta get the cervix and the uterus out. And then possibly lymph nodes, because it can go to that. So, I guess it all depends on the PET scan.ā
