Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle, recently had a friendly football competition during their trip to Jordon. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex competed in a shootout during their tour of a youth center. The duo participated in the penalty shootout, where Markle dominated, leaving Harry in the dust with her power move.

Meghan Markle dominates the football turf while in Jordan with Prince Harry

Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle, are on a humanitarian trip to Jordan. And it seems the royals made sure to show off their football skills during their trip to a Questscope youth center at Za’atari Refugee Camp near Amman.

According to GB News, the former actress was snapped taking a penalty shot, and she succeeded. She hit the ball past a young goalkeeper into the back of the net. And Markle made sure to enjoy the goal by raising her arms in triumph after her right-footed strike sailed into the goal. However, the Duke of Sussex did not fare that well as his penalty shot was saved by the girl between the posts.

Markle had previously joked about her athletic abilities on her Netflix special, “With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration,” telling tennis star Naomi Osaka that she was “so painfully bad” at tennis. According to PEOPLE, while recalling a childhood report card that couldn’t even grade her, she said, “My mom found an old report card of mine, and on the report card in the physical education part, [it read]: ‘Ability to throw or catch a ball: not applicable.’ They couldn’t even give me a grade!”

But with her football skills, she surely dominated her husband on Wednesday. As per the outlet, the royal couple is on a two-day trip to Jordan to gain insight into humanitarian operations supporting Syrians and Palestinians who fled to the country over the last few years.

The couple also “met young people from Syria participating in music, photography, sport, and art therapy programmes – spaces where expression becomes a tool for resilience, connection, and recovery,” as per royals official website.
