Lara Trump says one of her husband's television habits can quickly get under her skin.

During a recent question-and-answer episode of her online program, the Fox News host said Eric Trump began watching Yellowstone without her, leaving her dropped into the middle of episodes with no idea what was happening.

The exchange began when she was asked whether she watches shows connected to Taylor Sheridan, including Yellowstone, Landman, Lioness, Dutton Ranch, Marshals and The Madison. This comes after Lara Trump sparks concern as she posts 'weird photo' with her husband.

Trump said she does not.

"OK, I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be really honest, and I'm probably gonna upset a lot of people. No," she said.

She explained that intense public enthusiasm for a series can sometimes make her less interested in trying it.

"I know everybody loves these, but to me it's a little like Game of Thrones," Lara said.

"When everyone is like so all in on something, I have this immediate visceral reaction, which is like, I'm probably not gonna get into that."

Her husband's decision to start Yellowstone on his own only reinforced that reluctance, she said.

"And then my husband did the thing that no spouse or significant other should do, and he started watching Yellowstone fully on his own," she said.

That meant she would occasionally walk into a room while an episode was already underway, with no understanding of the characters or plot.

"So then he would have the episodes up, you know, on whatever it's on Netflix or Paramount, right?" she said.

"He would have episodes up that I had no context for, so it'd be in the middle of some random episode. I don't know who the people are, I don't know the backstory, I don't know anything."

Lara said the viewing pattern left her more frustrated than curious.

"So then I was just kind of like irritated cause then there's something on my TV that I don't really know what it is or what's going on," she said.

"I'm sure it's great. I'm sure there's a reason that everybody is into it," Lara said.
