President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, dished on her father-in-law's disastrous sleep schedule after the president was seen allegedly dozing off during various meetings.

Speaking on former WWE wrestler Tryrus' podcast, Lara revealed that while she does not sleep all that well, she gets more than the president's three hours. "I truly probably do not sleep enough, but I actually kind of find that I’m a little like the president," Lara said.

"He sleeps maybe three or four hours a night," she added. "Now I need a little bit more than that, but I think there are some people who can do with less."

An analysis by The Daily Beast found that there were only five days in April when the president could have managed a full night's sleep. In May, the president set a new record by posting 861 times on Truth Social, averaging about 27 per day.

While the president's posting on the conservative social media site — helped along by his aide Natalie Harp — his lack of apparent sleep has caught up with me, and most of the time, while he was on camera. Shortly after hitting his 80th year, the president was seen dozing at the rescheduled White House Correspondents' dinner.

All of the president's men and aides have defended the president's snoozing by simply claiming that it wasn't happening. In June, Democratic Representative Ted Lieu confronted Secretary of State Marco Rubio about it during a hearing.

"That's false. I've never seen him fall asleep," Rubio told the Democratic representative. "On the contrary, the guy doesn't sleep, which is a big problem, because he calls me at 2 in the morning, he calls me at 5 in the morning."

The president's daughter-in-law likened her sleep schedule to that of the president.

"And, you know, I like to sleep a little bit, maybe not 12 hours, but at least 6. So he works... The other day, he was at the Oval Office until 12:30 a.m," a heated Rubio stated. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Lieu, not satisfied with Rubio's remarks, butted in, saying he wanted to show the official a video that "shows you just lied to Congress."

Representative Lieu then pulled up a video of a May 27th meeting of the president's Cabinet, where Trump seemed to have dozed off while Rubio was speaking. "So this is a video of a cabinet meeting literally from last month where Donald Trump is sleeping while you are talking," the California representative stated.

"Please show this video. You are literally talking about issues of war and peace, and Donald Trump is sleeping right next to you," he added. "If Donald Trump cannot stay awake at these important meetings where the cameras are rolling, imagine what he's like when the cameras are not there."

"So I'm going to ask you, have you been to classified meetings where Donald Trump has fallen asleep or had trouble staying awake?" Lieu pressed again. Rubio, of course, denied such things ever happening.

"I've never been at any meeting and the things you're showing me now, he was not falling asleep," Rubio stated. Lieu once again butted in and asked if he was lying again.
