Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi sent heads spiraling when they were spotted making out at Justin Bieber’s Coachella after-party on weekend one, but as it turns out, the two had already been quietly dating by then.

“They’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months,” a source told People.

The actor and the supermodel have known each other for a while, as they run in similar celebrity circles. Elordi even attended Jenner’s birthday celebration in 2022, per People, and earlier this year, the two were spotted talking at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. But their romance hit a peak in the Indio, California, desert.

As they were surrounded by their famous friends following Bieber’s first Coachella set, the two reportedly could not stop kissing.

Of course, neither one of the stars has spoken publicly of the romance. Jenner famously likes to keep her private life out of the spotlight (despite her family’s reality show), and the Frankenstein star doesn’t even have social media.

“For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships,” Jenner toldVogue Australia in 2019. “I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier.”

Both Jenner and Elordi have star-studded dating pasts. The model has previously been linked to Bad Bunny, NBA star Devin Booker (whom she dated for two years), A$AP Rocky, and Harry Styles. Elordi, meanwhile, has been on an on-off relationship with influencer Olivia Jade for several years. Prior to that relationship, he briefly dated Kaia Gerber, Zendaya, and Joey King.
