John Travolta marked what would have been his late wife Kelly Preston’s 64th birthday on Tuesday, Oct. 13 by sharing a sweet video on Instagram

The montage video, previously posted by his daughter Ella Bleu, showed her getting ready and hitting the runway for Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2027 show at Paris Fashion Week on Oct. 4

John Travolta is marking what would have been his late wife Kelly Preston’s 64th birthday with a heartwarming video.

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, the Grease actor, 72, shared a clip of the couple’s daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, 26, making her Paris Fashion Week debut on Sunday, Oct. 4.

The montage clip posted on Instagram featured multiple moments from Ella’s time in Paris for Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2027 show, with the camera capturing her getting ready, as well as walking the runway alongside stars including Olivia Colman and Gigi Hadid.

Audrey Hepburn’s version of “Moon River” played in the background of the post, which Travolta captioned, “Look at your baby girl now Kelly!! Happy birthday, you should be so proud!!”

Ella — who first made her runway debut during New York Fashion Week in 2022, walking in the Karl Lagerfeld runway show for its Cara Loves Karl capsule collection — had previously shared the Paris Fashion Week montage video on her own Instagram page.

“I love this Ella -and I love you! Dad!” Travolta wrote in the comments section.

Ella then posted her own birthday tribute to her mom on Tuesday, sharing a photo of her as a child with Preston on her Instagram Stories, and writing, “Happy Birthday mama. I love you,” alongside a white heart emoji.

Preston died in 2020 at age 57, two years after she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. As well as daughter Ella, the couple also shares son Benjamin, 15, together, along with son Jett, who died in 2009 at 16 years old.

Ella marked Mother’s Day this year by sharing a sweet photo of herself as a child with her arm around Preston, with them both smiling at the camera.

In the snap, which Ella posted on her Instagram Stories at the time, her late mom had a celebratory bowl of ice cream with a candle on top on a table in front of her as she held onto a wrapped gift.

“Happy Mother’s Day Mama, I love you,” Ella wrote, adding three heart emojis.

Ella recently starred in her dad’s film, Propeller One-Way Night Coach, which the actor dedicated to Preston and his late son, Jett.

“I dedicated the film to Kelly, to my son Jett, to my brothers and sisters, to my mother and my father, because they are the model from which this film was born,” he told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica in June.

When asked how he was able to stay optimistic despite experiencing so much pain and loss through the years, he told the outlet that, while “life has certainly tested me,” it’s his “nature is to look for the positive, even in the face of the worst.”

“I’m not made to remain absorbed in the darkness,” Travolta continued. “I can look at the darkness, but I don’t choose to die in that darkness.”
