After a whole lot of hype, Harry Styles‘ Madison Square Garden residency is officially underway.

If the famed venue sounds familiar of late, that’s because it’s home to the reigning-champion New York Knicks — and also where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot earlier this summer.

And in Styles’ latest New York concert, the 32-year-old Grammy winner addressed both pop-culture landmarks in what fans are calling a “cheeky” moment — given that he and Swift, 36, formerly dated.

“We’re at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks!” Styles announced on stage, which received thunderous applause. “And they also do weddings.”

Fans have since commented on the post to share their unfiltered reactions to Styles’ unexpected shoutout. “What a cheeky little minx. I’m here early 🙊,” wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, “Oh, he loves that swiftie attention! Good luck dude!”

Styles reportedly served as the inspiration behind Swift’s chart-topping song “Style” after they dated from November 2012 until January 2013.

Regarding the epic Swift-Kelce wedding on July 3, Variety reports that Styles “received an invitation” to the event but couldn’t attend because he was “currently on tour and will not make it to MSG.” Styles’ fiancé Zoe Kravitz, meanwhile, was in attendance at the star-studded affair.

Styles Paid Tribute to a Late Icon During His Residency’s Kickoff

Earlier this week, the “Golden” singer made headlines when he honored the late Dolly Parton during his first show at Madison Square Garden.
