Victoria Gibson revealed in a four-part TikTok series that she lost $20,000 in a hacking incident

The former Patriots WAG — whose husband is NFL star Antonio Gibson — said that the situation left her with “frustration” and “sadness”

“It turns out this happens to a lot of influencers,” she said. “A lot of people try to take advantage of them. And that's the main reason why I wanted to share what happened to me”

Victoria Gibson is opening up about losing $20,000 in a hacking incident.

On April 29, the former WAG — whose husband Antonio Gibson played with the New England Patriots — left the internet wondering after she posted a tearful clip to Instagram with overlaid text claiming she had $20,000 “stolen” from her. Gibson, an expecting mom, added in the caption that the “last few weeks of pregnancy have come with sleepless nights, and tonight’s frustration turned into sadness.”

Victoria has now shared the full story in a four-part TikTok series, posted on May 15.

In her TikTok posts, Victoria said she was contacted by a company, which told her they wanted to work with her for a $20,000 deal. Things started to go awry when she was sending them her financial documentation, and they repeatedly told her that she had incorrectly filled out forms, even when her own financial team said they were correct, she continued.

Then, Victoria said, as her financial team was communicating with the company, her team informed her that it appeared she had been hacked and the company had instead wired the $20,000 to the individual who hacked her.

Though she says the issue was not her mistake, Victoria claimed that she felt that the company was “not admitting any fault” and “didn't have a sense of urgency” in rectifying the issue to make sure she was paid.

But, Victoria continued, she elevated the issue, and eventually the company paid her the $20,000 she was owed.

“It turns out this happens to a lot of influencers,” she said. “A lot of people try to take advantage of them. And that's the main reason why I wanted to share what happened to me.”

She added that the incident especially hit home because she’s been an “unemployed stay-at-home mom” for several years, and it had felt particularly empowering to broker a lucrative deal on her own.

Victoria told PEOPLE in October that she met her now-husband in the midst of Antonio’s rookie season for the Washington Commanders. Though she knew nothing about football at the time, the pair hit it off, eventually tying the knot in March 2025 and welcoming three kids, with a fourth on the way.

While her husband was playing for the Patriots from 2024 to 2026, Victoria regularly shared her life as a WAG on Instagram and TikTok to hundreds of thousands of followers — notably invitingCardi B to tailgate with her after the rapper confirmed her pregnancy with Patriots star Stefon Diggs and making a cheeky video after the team’s heartbreaking loss in the 2026 Super Bowl.
