Love Island USA first washed up on TV screens in 2019 and recently concluded its eighth season.

Over the years, the dating series has led to several real-life love stories.

Some of those couples are still going strong today.

Since premiering in 2019, Peacock‘s viral reality hit Love Island USA has dominated the reality dating scene alongside its U.K. predecessor.

The series follows a group of singles (called Islanders) living together in a luxurious tropical villa. The goal is to find a connection and win over the viewers watching at home. Couples face twists, re-couplings, and eliminations. But in the end, it’s the audience who votes on who wins the show’s $100,000 prize.

Love Island USA season 8 recently came to a close, crowning one couple the winner. Heading into the finale, the final four couples were Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff, Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt, Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou, and Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea. Each pairing left the villa ready to test their connection in the real world, but the ultimate winners were the season’s fan-favorite couple, “Brinity.”

Only time will tell if season 8’s new lovebirds make it, but it’s worth noting that the reality sensation has produced more than a few genuine couples over the years. Read on to see which Love Island USA couples are still together.

Status: Engaged

Love Island USA has its first engagement. Season 5 winners Marco Donatelli and Hannah Wright recently made history as the first couple from the U.S. franchise to take things from the villa to the altar.

Donatelli popped the question on May 28, 2025, during a beach getaway in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, telling PEOPLE that he started planning the proposal “nine months” in advance, locking down the details by December 2024.

“This is about us, but most importantly, it’s about you and everything you have done to change my life over the past two years,” Donatelli said in a heart-melting video of the proposal. “You are my pride, my joy, and my everything.”

Wright said she had no idea it was coming. “I was shocked, I had no idea, and I was convinced that we were solely there for a vacation trip,” she said. “I was crying the whole time, the setup was beautiful and felt like a dream.” In a TikTok posted in February, the couple revealed they will be wed on Dec. 12, 2026.

The pair met when Hannah entered as a bombshell in episode 2 and chose Marco as her partner. Sparks flew fast. By their final date, they were officially a couple. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Status: Engaged

It’s been three years, and Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen and Taylor Nicole Smith are still going strong. The Love Island USA season 5 fan favorites, who placed third, will celebrate their third anniversary this August, and they’ll do so as husband and wife-to-be.

In May 2026, Bergie revealed via Instagram that he and Taylor had gotten engaged. He chose to propose in Fredericksburg, Tex., as it was where they had celebrated their six-month anniversary. “I won’t lie there are many days (most days) I don’t think about Love Island,” he wrote, “but it changed my life by giving me Taylor. I can’t imagine a life without Taylor.”

Bergie had a slow start in the Love Island USA villa, struggling to find a lasting connection until Casa Amor brought Taylor into the picture.

The two clicked instantly, leaving the show as a couple. After the season wrapped, Bergie told Entertainment Weeklythat he learned “a ton about myself in terms of what I want in a relationship,” adding that Taylor “has everything that I want and I have everything that she wants.”

Status: Dating

Kordell Beckham and Serena Page are one of two couples from Love Island USA season 6 still together. After charming viewers and taking home the $100,000 prize, Kordell and Serena have emerged as two of the most recognizable faces in today’s reality TV landscape.

After their big win, Kordell made the move to Los Angeles to be closer to Serena, who was already based there. But don’t expect a moving-in announcement soon, as Serena told PEOPLE in October 2024 that they won’t be living together until there’s a ring on her finger.

Since leaving the villa, the couple has been booked, busy, and incredibly in demand. They appeared in the first season of the Peacock spinoff, Love Island: Beyond the Villa, and have landed some major brand campaigns, including a Valentine’s Day collaboration with Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty.

They also surprised fans with starring roles in Summer Walker’s lyric video for “Heart of a Woman” and appeared in a series of CeraVe commercials that aired on Peacock throughout June 2025. Most recently, they teamed up to help promote the upcoming rom-com One Night Only, sharing a video in which they look back on their Love Island courtship.

Status: Dating

Season 6 runners-up Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi are rock-solid and seriously so cute. Since leaving the show, Miguel has playfully dubbed Kateb “my wife” in TikTok videos, which he told Us Weekly is an endearing way of calling her his “queen” and “princess.”

Just like their fellow Love Island USA alums, Leah and Miguel have been keeping fans on social media with plenty of photos and videos.

In a July 2025 interview with Access Hollywood, Leah confessed that she’s “obsessed” with Miguel, calling him the “sweetest, cutest, purest thing ever.” She described them as “soulmates,” citing how they seem to always see eye to eye.

Miguel also gushed over Leah, saying, “From the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep, we just enjoy each other’s company,” he said. “When I’m not with her, I feel like I’m not entirely whole.”

A year later, the two lovebirds are still going strong. Speaking to E! News in March, Leah said, “We love our date nights. We always switch up our date nights.” They even began picturing their dream wedding — though they are not yet engaged.

Carmen (season 5) and Connor (season 6)

Status: It’s complicated

Unlike other couples who found love in the villa, season 5’s Carmen Kocourek and season 6’s Connor Newsum found each other after their respective seasons. Though they appeared on separate seasons, the two connected afterward and went public with their relationship in July 2025.

However, it seems their spark may have fizzled out. As of July 2026, Connor’s Instagram post confirming their relationship has been deleted, and things have been quiet for the couple. Neither has commented publicly on a possible split.

Fans may remember Carmen from season 5, where she entered the villa on day 2 and briefly coupled with Victor Gonzalez. She then moved on with Kenzo Nudo, and they stayed together through the season and finished in fourth place. Carmen and Kenzo dated for nearly a year before calling it quits in June 2024.

Connor’s journey, on the other hand, was less eventful. He entered on day 2 of season 6, coupling first with JaNa Craig before moving on to Leah Kateb. They both made it to the finals with their current partners, however, leaving Connor to exit on day 15.

Status: Dating

After flirting for weeks on end, Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen finally got together toward the end of Love Island USA season 7. Fans shipped “Nicolandria” all summer, and they ended up finishing in second place.

At the reunion, Nicolandria shared that they hadn’t put a label on their relationship. Since then, however, they’ve remained romantically linked, with their connection seemingly only growing in the year since they left the villa.

In the season 2 finale of Beyond the Villa, Nic opened up about the challenges of being a long-distance couple in the public eye. Things can get tough, he acknowledged, before adding that “our schedules have been aligning up pretty nicely... Just pray that it aligns.”

In a June interview with Cosmopolitan, Olandria further explained their views on being a public couple: “We don’t monetize our relationship or put it on display. If you genuinely like spending quality time with somebody, it shouldn’t involve a camera every two seconds. We enjoy each other’s presence and do what normal people do: go out, have fun, and get to know each other.”

Taylor and Clarke (season 7)

Status: Dating

Clarke Carraway and Taylor Williams made their relationship official before leaving the villa. A year later, they’re still together. Their relationship was partially documented in Beyond the Villa season 2, which saw the couple learning to navigate their long-distance relationship.

In August 2025, Taylor was hospitalized after being injured at a rodeo. Speaking to Cosmopolitan about the incident, he admitted that his relationship with Clarke “shifted for the better” when she arrived to help take care of him in the aftermath.

“We only grew stronger and got to understand each other more,” he said in April. “I got to see who Clarke really was when I was on bed rest for two weeks. I got to see her caring side, how much she loves me, and how much she wants to tend to me, if I need her to. We definitely grew super strong.”

Iris and TJ (season 7)

Status: Dating

Iris Kendall and TJ Palma coupled up early in Love Island USA season 7. After TJ was dumped from the villa, Iris moved on with Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzalez. The new couple went on to finish fourth and left the show together.

Iris and Pepe confirmed they were still dating at the reunion. Days before it aired, however, rumors of a breakup surfaced when Iris unfollowed Pepe on Instagram. He quickly did the same, sparking even more speculation.

On Sept. 15, 2025, Iris seemed to confirm a reunion with TJ. The two stepped out as a couple at NYFW. A day later, they were spotted looking smitten in photos Iris shared on Instagram.

Like Clarke and Taylor, they appeared in Beyond the Villa season 2 and still appear to be going strong. Speaking to Cosmopolitan ahead of the show’s April premiere, Iris said, “Our relationship is healthy, and it makes me feel really good. This is the first time I’ve ever been in a relationship where I feel so confident, good, and happy. I feel safe, and it’s growing every single day.”

Where can I watch Love Island USA?

The first three seasons of Love Island USA are currently streaming on Hulu, while seasons 4-8 are available to watch on Peacock. The season 8 reunion will air on Peacock on Monday, Aug. 31, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
