Soccer star David Beckham was spotted tearing up as the National Anthem played at England’s match-up against Argentina on Wednesday.

Beckham, 51, settled into the stands at the FIFA World Cup semi-final match between England and Argentina. He was accompanied by his wife, Victoria and their children: Romeo, Cruz and Harper. Ahead of the kick-off, Beckham was seen looking emotional as England’s national anthem played. Standing alongside his family, the former English team captain could be seen wiping away tears.

The emotional display from Beckham comes after he was spotted enthusiastically singing along to “God Save the King” at England’s quarter-final game.
