Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones is in a relationship with an ex-volleyball player whose father is well-known among sports fans.
Jones, currently in his eighth NFL season and second as the Colts' starting quarterback, has rejuvenated his career in Indianapolis after being cut by the New York Giants midway through the 2024 campaign.
As a regular on NFL fans’ television screens on Sundays, Jones’ personal life has become a popular talking point, particularly since it was revealed that his girlfriend has a famous father.
Jones’ girlfriend is Nicole Elattrache, a former volleyball player at Duke University, where she and Jones both attended between 2015 and 2018.

Despite their history of attending the same college, Jones and Elattrache only became romantically linked in May 2026 after she shared a snap of the two posing arm-in-arm on her Instagram story to wish the NFL star a happy 29th birthday.
The news came two months after Jones signed a two-year, $88 million contract to remain with the Colts through the end of the 2027 season.
Elattrache has more than 15,000 followers and 100 posts on her Instagram profile, where she has largely shared snaps of her daily life, including family get-togethers and vacations.

She has only posted one slideshow, shown below, since she and Jones were discovered to be dating, and it did not feature the NFL quarterback. The majority of her content was uploaded during the 2010s and early 2020s.
Upon Nicole sharing her relationship with Jones, fans quickly connected the dots and uncovered that her father is Dr. Neal Elattrache, a renowned orthopedic surgeon who has operated on numerous professional athletes after they suffered serious injuries.
Elattrache, 66, has operated on NFL stars like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Joe Burrow, NBA players like Kobe Bryant and Jamal Murray, and MLB standouts including Shohei Ohtani, Bryce Harper, and Clayton Kershaw. He is commonly named in news items when a pro athlete undergoes a major surgery.
A specialist based out of the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California, Elattrache is also the official team physician for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jones, who has suffered two major lower-body injuries in his NFL career, with a torn ACL in 2023 and a torn Achilles in 2025, has never been operated on by Elattrache.
Both of Jones’ surgeries took place in New York, although only one of them came during his tenure with the Giants.
Jones and Elattrache aren’t the only famous ones in the wider family tree, as Neal is also a brother-in-law of actor Sylvester Stallone, who is married to Jennifer Flavin — the sister of Neal’s wife, Tricia.
