A boy is going viral for his hilarious reaction to finding out the sex of his baby sibling
The now-viral video, shared by his mom Skylar Lunsford, shows the 4-year-old rolling his eyes while his older sister squeals with excitement at the news of a baby sister
Despite his initial disappointment, Skylar tells PEOPLE her son has since fallen in love with his baby sister
A boy is going viral for his hilarious reaction to finding out the sex of his baby sibling.
Skylar Lunsford, a 27-year-old mom based in Indiana, and her husband Shane Lunsford, 27, decided to wait to find out the sex of their third and final baby. The doting mom tells PEOPLE that she and her husband believed it would be a "very special" moment to celebrate their new addition with the family.
"We already had one boy and one girl. I had saved all of their clothes, so I was already prepared for either!" she explains. "You don’t get a lot of surprises in life as an adult, and this is one thing we could genuinely be surprised about."
After the delivery, the newly minted parents brought their older kids, a 4-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, into the hospital room to introduce them to their baby sibling. In a video, which the mom of three later shared on social media, Skylar captured her children's genuine reaction to the news that she welcomed another girl.
In the hilarious clip, the brother-sister pair excitedly walk into the hospital room with Shane before their mom tells them that they have a baby sister. Immediately after hearing the news, their daughter squeals with excitement, while their son rolls his eyes with a look of disappointment on his face.
"When I saw my son roll his eyes, I felt a little sorry for him. My husband has all sisters, and I knew how much he would have loved to have a brother. I felt bad for my little boy that he wouldn’t get that," the mom of three admits. "I also thought it was funny because it was like he subconsciously knew he’d have another girl bossing him around."

Despite her son's initial reaction in the clip, Skylar tells PEOPLE that he has fallen "in love" with his baby sister. She also adds that her family of five has adjusted "really well" to the new addition in the family.
"My son fell in love with her as soon as we brought her home. The older kids are great with her, always wanting to hold her and love on her," she shares. "She is the perfect addition to our family. She’s my easiest baby, which has made the transition to a family of five much smoother."

Looking ahead, Skylar tells PEOPLE that she's most excited to see her children's sibling dynamic.
"I really look forward to seeing how the baby fits into the sibling relationship. The older two are only 21 months apart, so they don’t know life without each other," she explains, referring to her older children's sibling dynamic. "They do everything together. They love each other so much, but also fight a lot."
She adds, "I’m curious to see if they will fight with the baby over toys as she gets older and mobile, or if they’ll always treat her as a baby and spoil her with whatever she wants."
