It wasn't too long ago that Bad Bunny, who costars in *Happy Gilmore 2 *with Adam Sandler, was just hoping to catch a glimpse of the comedian. He now admits he got emotional when he finally did.

"That's right!" Sandler recalled. "He was on the other side, sitting way over there."

Sandler had noticed the musician because he was with one of his daughters — Sandler is dad to teenagers Sunny and Sadie — who recognized the artist and began hitting her dad.

"And then we locked eyes," Sandler said, "and then I gave you some love from across the court."

"When he [made] the eye contact with me, I was like, 'Bro!" he continued. "I cried."

He tried to hold in his tears, telling himself, "I can't cry courtside," but it didn't stop the waterworks. "He knows who I am!"

The singer then admitted that he might have been extra emotional in the moment because he was "a little tipsy."
