Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have reached a settlement in their two-year-long legal battle over their shared Los Angeles home, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

On Tuesday, Jan. 13, legal representatives for Madix, 40, filed a notice of settlement in the entire case against Sandoval, 43, in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The document did not outline details of the agreement, but stated the “dismissal” is contingent on the "satisfactory completion of specified terms.”

The exes are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5 for a final status conference, but if the terms of the agreement aren’t reached, the case will go to trial on Feb. 17.

The settlement comes nearly three years after the Vanderpump Rules stars ended their romantic relationship on March 1, 2023. The couple called it quits after nine years together following allegations that Sandoval cheated on Madix with their co-star Rachel "Raquel" Leviss.

Following the split, the couple’s shared L.A. home became a point of contention. On Jan. 5, 2024, Madix filed a complaint against Sandoval asking a judge for a “partition by sale,” which means the court would sell the house and split the proceeds.

At the time, Madix asked for an “equitable allocation of the proceeds of sale.” The request included the “payment of debt secured by same and the costs of partition,” as well as attorneys’ fees and title expenses.

In response to the litigation, Sandoval alleged in February 2024 that Madix failed “to state sufficient facts to state a cause of action” against him and thus he felt a partition of the home should not be granted.

After news of the lawsuit broke, Madix told PEOPLE she was ready to move on and sell the home.

“I own the house,” she said. “I felt like it was the last thing, and I’m just really motivated to be able to get my investment that I made into the house out so that I can make another investment and be able to fully move on from being tied to that.”

“I want things a certain way when I think it’s the right time,” the self-described “control freak” added. “So I’m ready. I want to own my home.”

In 2021, the couple gave PEOPLE an exclusive look at their five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home, which they purchased in 2019 after six years together.

Representatives for Madix and Sandoval did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
